(we sponsor this event every year since 2016 – it’s a fundraising luncheon where hundreds gather to hear from a guest speaker from El Salvador and update on their ministry which is in El Salvador. We also went to El Salvador for a week long mission trip where we did remodeling to the S.H.I.P. buildings, cleaned the surrounding neighborhood, taught the neighborhood kids vacation bible school and fed the neighborhood families at an outreach night)

SHIP ministers in El Salvador in an extremely economically disadvantaged neighborhood. One of the ways SHIP helps its neighbors is by sending more than 80 children to safe, private Christian schools. In January 2019, SHIP opened a school, La Luz de Jesús (The Light of Jesus), at its Salvadoran facility for 26 K-4 and K-5 students, with plans to add a grade each subsequent year. SHIP’s heart is to provide hope and bright futures to these precious children, but we need your help to make their dreams a reality. SHIP’s sponsorSHIP program provides opportunities for people in the U.S. to personally invest in the life of a child in El Salvador. In addition to helping your sponsored child obtain a good education, you can help the child develop a sense of confidence and self-worth with the love you express through letters and prayers. As a sponsor, there is a real connection between you and the specific child you support.
